Melissa has been a key part of the DDS team for more than 12 years since she first entered the field of dentistry. She is a registered dental assistant, certified in CPR, and always goes the extra mile for her clients to keep up with breakthrough trends in the dental industry. Melissa loves connecting with people above all else and helps her clients feel more comfortable and confident in their smile. She is passionate about putting the goals and values of her clients first and bringing them the highest standards of care. Her favorite DDS technology is the Axeos CBCT Imaging scanner, which allows her to provide enhanced image quality to support her clients’ diagnoses.
During her time away from the practice, Melissa loves to spend time with her three children and watch her daughter play soccer. She enjoys traveling, spending time at the beach, and running her small business – a T-shirt shop!
Angela McGaughey
Front Office Coordinator
Angela brings 25 years of experience in the dental field, including six months with DDS, where she has found her new home. She loves using the iTero scanner to show patients their before-and-after images—helping create life-changing smiles that last a lifetime.
She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Houston (Go Coogs!).
Outside of work, Angela enjoys listening to live music, traveling, and, of course, shopping—her all-time favorite pastime!
Marquette Brown
Insurance Coordinator
Marquette joined DDS four months ago but brings 18 Years of experience in the dental field to her role as Insurance Coordinator. She began her career as a Dental Assistant and expanded her skill set, becoming cross-trained to serve as an Office Manager. With a passion for delivering the best, she transitioned to her current role as an Insurance Coordinator.
Outside of work, Marquette enjoys reading, spending quality time with her daughters, traveling, and indulging in her love for shopping. Her diverse interests and commitment to personal and professional development make her a well-rounded and valued member of the DDS team.
Chrystal Pierce
Registered Dental Hygienist
Chrystal joined DDS six months ago, bringing her passion for patient education and preventive care. She especially loves using the phase contrast microscope, which helps patients understand the connection between their oral microbiome and overall health. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from the University of Texas.
When she’s not at work, Chrystal enjoys spending time with her husband and three kids. Their favorite way to unwind? Camping adventures!
Alyssa Garcia
Registered Dental Assistant
Alyssa has over a decade of experience in dentistry and has been a valued part of the DDS team for the past three years. She loves working with the Fotona Laser because it delivers great results with little to no pain for patients.
As a dedicated RDA, Alyssa is passionate about providing excellent care.
Outside of work, she enjoys watching her kids play sports and cheering them on from the sidelines.
Anabel Vanegas
Registered Dental Assistant
Anabel has been with DDS for nearly a year, bringing enthusiasm and care to every patient interaction. She loves working with Prime Mill and CEREC technology because it allows for same-day crowns and helps with dental emergencies.
She holds a dental assistant certification license, CPR certification, and a nitrous oxide certification.
In her free time, Anabel enjoys spending time outdoors and being with family.
Mireida Garcia
Registered Dental Assistant
Mireida has been part of the DDS team for over a year and a half, bringing her skills and dedication to patient care. She loves working with the Prime Mill and CEREC technology because it allows for same-day crowns, temporary crowns, and bridges—making treatments more convenient for patients. Mireida is certified in nitrous oxide administration and CPR.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her daughters and family, going on walks, visiting parks, and exploring new places.
